The Timeline Project

The Timeline Project - Something Somewhere Else 17th/19th August 2007 10am-6pm The utilisation of natural resources and economic development within rural communities are under threat as young people opt for urban living above life in the country. The loss of young people is a real threat to the future diversity and sustainability of rural communities. This installation serves to illustrate this growing problem, and symbolise the conflict of departure through necessity rather than choice. Mae colli'r bobl ifanc yn fygythiad i ddyfodol amrywiol a pharhaus cymunedau gwledig. Bwriad y gosodiad yma yw i ddarlunio'r broblem yma sydd yn tyfu ac i symboleiddio'r gwrthdaro o ymadawiad drwy angenrheidrwydd yn hytrach na dewis.
