A River Through Time
5th-6th, 12th-13th, 19th-20th and 26th-27th May
10am-5pm

Following a successful inaugural exhibition at King Street Gallery in 2010 this exhibition at The Last Gallery is of woodcut prints, each print is a response to a section of the Tywi river from Llangadog to Dryslwyn.

The Tywi Printmakers started out as one of a series of initiatives supported by the Tywi, A River Through Time project in 2009. All who took part were keen to learn more about different printmaking techniques, which opened up exciting new opportunities for creative expression. The group has continued to develop under the tutelage of printmaker Alan Williams, who has guided the group through the skills of a variety of print processes. The group continues to meet on a monthly basis in Llandeilo at The Civic Hall.

‘Tywi – Afon yr Oesoedd’

Arddangosfa o 8 dorlun pren du a gwyn gan wneuthurwyr print Tywi.
The Last Gallery
Yn dilyn arddangosfa agoriadol yng Ngaleri King Street yn 2010, mae’r arddangosfa yma yn y ‘Last Gallery’ o dorluniau pren, mae pob un ohonynt yn ymateb i rhan o’r afon Tywi o Langadog i Ddryslwyn.
Cychwynodd gwneuthurwyr print Tywi fel un o gyfres o fentrau a gefnogwyd gan brosiect Tywi, Afon yr Oesoedd yn 2009. Roedd pawb a gymerodd rhan yn awyddus i ddysgu am dechnegau creu print gwahanol ac agorodd gyfleoedd cyffrous newydd i fynegiant creadigol. Parhaodd y grwp i ddatblygu o dan warchodaeth y gwneuthuriwr print Alan Williams a arweiniodd y grwp drwy sgiliau amrywiaeth o brosesau print. Mae’r grwp yn dal i gyfarfod yn fisol yn Llandeilo yn y Neuadd Ddinesig.
